How would animating on programs like TV Paint Animation or Pencil2D handle on this Macbook Pro? How I many hours of animatiom can I do until I start to get lag? Can I edit a 4K video that's about 2 hours or so long on Final Cut Pro without lag? If not, can I at least edit a 1080p video that's 2 hours long using Final Cut Pro without lag?Ĥ. So I assume I would just times that by two?ģ. The drum program says it needs: Intel-based Mac, 4GB RAM minimum, 4GB Disk Space. I can? Can I? Can I just record the drums in the original songs project that has 35 - 50 tracks? or will that crash Logic or give me lag? lol I won't have anymore tracks on this either. I need seemless recording, so I can't have logic crashing or pausing recording for any reason.

Then as a third and final track, I want to have a song in a single audio file playing back to record the drums too. The program will be running as a plug-in in both tracks basically. Can I successfully use the program Toontrack EZ Drummer 2 on two separate audio tracks with one midi drumset on each track, recording both drumsets at the same time while.listening to the playback song as well? Each drumset will have about 11 peices.

In a brand new music project in Logic Pro I would also like to record 2 electric drumsets via midi and pan them around to make one big drumset to the listener which is what my specific style of music requires. I will be recording, mixing, and mastering the music on these tracks. No more than 4 or 5 plug-ins most likely. They will all most likely have EQ, Compressors, and a few other plugin's on them. I plan on using a lot of virtual instrument midi samples in different tracks and one song alone maybe have up to about at a guess, perhaps 30 to maybe 60 tracks? About. Especially in the music area, which I will be using most.

I want to know what are my limits as a heavy Mac user. This is 10 years old, so I doubt 16gb of ram on an older mac, has the same power as 16gb of ram on a newer mac. I'm getting this laptop for fairly cheap, (at least I think it's a good deal?) and I want to know what I can do on it before I just dive into it blind and bite off more than I can chew mid way into a project.
